France Lowers 2030 Hydrogen Targets Amid Market Challenges, Maintains €4Bn Subsidy Commitment
France’s Ministry of Economy and Industry today unveiled an updated national hydrogen strategy, significantly cutting its previous 6.5GW green and pink hydrogen production target for 2030 down to 4.5GW. The updated plan, originally announced in 2020, also scales back the longer-term 2035 target from over 10GW to 8GW.
